You may have noticed that you haven’t seen much from me recently. Well that’s because I…wait what’s that? You didn’t notice? For real? It’s been like 2 weeks. Why do you even follow me then?

Fine, well for the rest of you who actually care about me and were concerned for my well being, the reason for my extended absence was because I moved. That’s right, sold the house. I figured that after a neighbor’s house sold for a decent amount over the summer, we should strike while the iron was lukewarm. So my wife and I put the house on the market in early September and it sold in 3 weeks. Closing was Monday, so we spent the past week or so packing and moving.

The move itself went well enough. No injuries to report. We’re currently living with my in-laws while we look for a new place. It should be fine enough, but I am a bit nervous for the day my father in-law recognizes that an episode of Hey Dude on Teen Nick is taped on his DVR. There’s really no recovering from that. There’s also a shit-ton of chocolate available in this house at all times, so I may just gain 50 lbs. I’ll keep you posted.
